๐Ÿ”’ Locked post

With this feature, you can create a locked post that users can unlock only if they meet specific requirements.

As shown in the video, a post is sent to the channel with a blurred image and a button that users can press to unlock the post and view the clear image.

The user presses the unlock button, but because they are not subscribed to the channel, they cannot unlock the post.

Once they subscribe, they can press the button again. The post will then unlock and update to display the clear image they were trying to access.

Post setup

Before using this feature, you first need to configure both the locked post and the unlocked post.

Locked Post

The Locked Post is the message that will be sent to the channel and will be visible to everyone, whether or not they are subscribed.

To configure it, follow the same procedure used in the other Channel Help menus to add text or media.

The most important part of the Locked Post setup is the button configuration, which works differently from usual:

For a locked post, there is one mandatory button: the unlock button.

This button is required so that users can attempt to unlock the post.

You only need to enter the text that will be shown on the unlock button:

Unlocked Post

The Unlocked Post is the version of the post that will be visible only to users who are subscribed to the channel and, if configured, to any additional required chats.

If a user is not subscribed, after pressing the unlock button the bot will tell them that the post will remain inaccessible until they subscribe to the channel or to the required chats.

The Unlocked Post is configured in the same way as posts in the other Channel Help menus.

Schedule sending/deletion

As with Create Post, you can schedule both when the post will be sent and when it will be deleted.

Extra settings

As with Create Post, these settings let you choose whether to:

  • Send a notification to users when the post is published

  • Protect the post

  • Pin the post at the top of the channel

Required chats

This feature lets you add chats that users must join before they can unlock the post.

Normally, a user who tries to unlock the post is stopped if they are not subscribed to the channel. With required chats enabled, they will also be asked to join the chats added in this menu:

Add a new chat by pressing Add:

First, add @ChannelHelp as an administrator of the chat you want to require.

Then copy the link to one of the messages in that chat by pressing or holding the message and selecting Copy post link:

Next, send the bot the link you copied from the chat:

If you followed these steps correctly, the bot will confirm that the change was applied.

You can verify that the chat was added successfully by returning to the main menu:

If you have more than one required chat, you can choose the order in which they will be shown to users:

Press the ๐Ÿ”ผ arrow next to the second chat:

The second chat will move to the first position in the list, so it will be the first required chat shown to users when they try to access the content.

Channel Help Leads

When this option is enabled, users must also start Channel Help before they can unlock the post in the channel.

Requiring users to start Channel Help lets you acquire leads. This means you will be able to contact them again in the future through the BROADCAST feature, even if they later unsubscribe from your channel.

To disable this setting, you need the ๐ŸŸฃ PREMIUM plan or higher.
