๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ Goodbye

With this feature, you can decide what happens when a user leaves the channel.

Goodbye post

Customize the post that will be sent privately to users when they leave your channel.

To use this feature, you MUST enable the welcome post.

Next, you need to enable the goodbye post:

After enabling the feature, press the Goodbye post button to configure it:

To see how to configure a sending post on Channel Help, refer to the welcome post.

Goodbye with a custom bot

If you use your custom bot to send the welcome post, the goodbye post will also be sent using that bot.

For a user to receive a message when they leave your channel, they must have already interacted with your custom bot.

By default, when a user requests access to the channel, they will receive a โ€œPre-welcomeโ€ message from your custom bot, translated into their language.

When the user presses the button, they receive the welcome post and interact with the bot. From that point on, they will be able to receive the goodbye post in the future.

If you do not want the โ€œPre-welcomeโ€ message to be sent, disable the option in the menu:

However, remember to make sure the user interacts with your bot in some way.

Connect your custom bot to @ModularBot and try all its features for free, including the Broadcast feature, which allows you to send a message with buttons to all your users.

Leave ban

With this feature, you can choose whether or not to ban users who leave your channel.

First, you need to activate the "Leave ban" setting:

Next, we can configure how long a user will be banned after leaving the channel:

In the standard case, the ban is permanent, but it is also possible to decide to ban a user for a certain number of hours or days.

Group ban

To use this feature you must have the ๐ŸŸ  PLUS plan or higher.

By enabling this feature, a user who leaves the channel will also be banned from the associated discussion group.

Note: Channel Help must also be added as an administrator in the discussion group linked to the channel.
